Hi, I'm Hani Skutch

I am a stand-up comedian and MC who loves bringing warmth, wit, and real-life hilarity to every stage I step on. As a proud American-Israeli mom (with unmistakable purple hair), a passion for peppers, and a belief that the world needs more belly laughs, I bring a unique voice to comedy that’s both personal and universally relatable.

My style is clean, heartfelt, and rooted in the chaos and charm of everyday – from raising four kids and navigating Israeli life, to sharing space with my husband and our five cats. And yes, I do make pickles, and I really did beat a room full of poker pros in a Hold’em tournament — still one of my proudest moments!

I perform across Israel, the U.S., Europe, and beyond, and my shows resonate with a wide range of audiences — Jewish and non-Jewish, from senior communities and country clubs to organizational events and private functions. Whether it's a cultural gathering, corporate event, or community celebration, I bring laughter that bridges backgrounds and brings people together. And for the past eight years, I’ve been honored to be a featured comedian on the Keep Olim in Israel Comedy Tour.

As an American-Israeli comic with a foot in both cultures (and sometimes a falafel in one hand), I bring a fresh perspective to audiences in Israel and abroad. Also, I love Israel—a lot—and sharing that love is one of my favorite parts of performing.

Not exactly. While I am a Jewish Israeli comedian, my material is more about what unites us than what labels us. Think modern, upbeat, and universally funny—like Seinfeld with a passport.

Yes! I’m happy to stay standing for a Q&A or post-show chat. We can dig into life in Israel, comedy behind the scenes, or why peppers are the unsung heroes of the produce aisle.
